Section 55
Delegation of Powers
The board of directors may delegate some of the powers vested in it in accordance with this Act or the regulations made under this Act, the charter of the insurer and the regulations to any director, committee or sub-committee according to section 54, executive head or the person acting as the executive head of the insurer. But the management authority cannot be delegated to the director.
